LPG - measurement

Hectronic has found a solution how to deal with the pressurised liquefied petroleum gas tanks. While probes for conventional tank plants are equipped with a simple clamping bolt nut the probes for LPG tanks are designed with a welded to ensure safety. 16,8 bar (243,6 PSI) are provided by law; Hectronic’s welded screw connection resisted in numerous tests the pressure of 60 bars (870 PSI).

Delivery recognition:

The controller 104M records automatically the quantity and the time of a delivery.

Leak detection:

The controller 104M supervises the tank as well as the pipe work system. Even the smallest irregularities will be discovered and reported. Both static and dynamic leak detection is possible.

Automatical reconciliation:

The controller 104M compares the throughput to the dispensers to the really existing fuel volume in the tank. Of course the sways caused by temperature changes will be considered.

Automatic tank calibration:

Standard strapping tables get loaded or calculated and the controller 104M corrects them automatically into ideal tables for the respective tank.

Meter Mapping:

The controller 104M assigns automatically the pump dispensers to the belonging tanks. This includes also MPD-dispenser.

The incorruptible gauge

FIR HLS 5010 works according to the capacitive comparison principle. This technology is insensitive to outside factors such as conductive force, additives, dirt film, submergible pumps, foam, steam, sump and vibrations. The renunciation of movable parts makes the probes extremely reliable and guarantees no wear and tear. A well-developed product for the rough practice.

 

An easy installation and commissioning

 

In next to no time you can screw the gauge in a G 1 ½ thread on the top of the dome pit cover without additional installations like risers or something like that. Also a still pipe to absorb waves and turbulence is not required since the probe itself is a still pipe.

 

Intelligent with microprocessor - technique

 

The microprocessor in the head of the gauge works out useful data like e.g. the volume. Therefore an extern controller is not mandatory anymore.

 

Service-friendly

 

The whole electronics is in the probe head and can be exchanged in the case of an installed probe and during a running refuelling site within a few minutes.

 

Nothing can bother the probe!

 

Whether there are flooded man whole pits, aggressive or explosive, very cold (-25°C) or very hot (+100°C) liquids, level of 1mmtr (20“)or 6mtr (2350”) to quantified; there is no problem for OPTILEVEL! Even electro magnetic fields of a pressure pump do not influence the probe; it can be installed near of it. Furthermore you will not need an additional still pipe to absorb any wave motions. The probe itself offers the complete protection.
