Hectronic has developed a new company fuelling station concept and branded it Smart Refuelling. It comprises four components, the auto fuel terminal TA 2331, the automatic vehicle recognition PetroPoint, the electronic level gauge Optilevel and the management software FuelData. This world unique combination enables virtually 100% automation at the company fuelling station.

It must guarantee the lowest possible fuel consumption by closing all loops. It must allow swift dispensing from the nozzles, because time is money. And it must also make error-free data transmission a reality, because mistakes cost money.

Virtually 100% automation

These are the three wishes - or rather requirements - every company owner has of his fuelling station. In many cases, wish number one would remain unfulfilled; but these times are now finally over. Because Hectronic has developed a company fuelling station concept, which is a world's first at this level of complexity. This concept has been branded Smart Refuelling and it marries the four essential components with an unprecedented combination and all its benefits. These components are the auto fuel terminal family the TA 2331, the automatic vehicle recognition system PetroPoint, the electronic filling level measurement system Optilevel and the brand new fleet management software FuelData. The interoperation of this quartet enables virtually hundred percent automation at the company fuelling station. Other plus: Hectronic's single-source solution eliminates potential interface problems. Its modular structure also allows successive upgraded.

And how does it work? It's very simple - the driver just takes the nozzle and refuels. Hectronic's electronic assistant takes care of the rest. PetroPoint enables wireless vehicle identification, nozzle release, authorisation checks, and saves and evaluates tank data in just a matter of seconds. At the very same time, OPTILEVEL records changes in the fuel tank.

The transparent fuelling station

FuelData then organises this jumble of data. Hectronic's proprietary new software closes the loop, so to speak. All data are clearly and individually evaluated. And FuelData also handles billing procedures to external customers, fuel orders, precise listing of average consumption for each vehicle or fuel card update.

The software isn't limited to just refuelling. Additional modules guarantee a complete cost analysis on the vehicle and schedule monitoring. If required, FuelData can be integrated into a complete vehicle fleet management program. FuelData also enables access monitoring for the company area. The transparent fuelling station has become a reality!
